๐ŸŒ„ What to Expect

At 1,200 meters above sea level, Yukbaengmajigi offers panoramic meadows and wide skies rather than steep climbs. Each season paints a new scene:

  • Spring (May–June): Azaleas and wildflowers
  • Summer (July–August): Green meadows and gentle breezes
  • Autumn (September–October): Silver grass and sunset hues
  • Winter: Snow-covered highlands

▲ Sky deck with breathtaking clouds—symbolic photo point of Yukbaengmajigi

You can walk leisurely for about an hour including photo stops. Most visitors enjoy the breeze, take photos on the deck, and relax with coffee at the restaurant.

☕ Restaurant & Rest Area

Near the top is the only restaurant in the area, Yukbaengmajigi Restaurant. Popular dishes include Gondeure-bap (thistle rice, ₩12,000) and Potato pancake. Coffee and makgeolli are also available. The place is busiest around lunchtime (11:30–13:00).

▲ Crispy potato pancake with kimchi side—local specialty at Yukbaengmajigi Restaurant

Next to the main parking lot is a public restroom, clean and equipped with running water (6 stalls for women). Small stalls sell drinks and snacks nearby.

▲ Rest area and restroom facilities overlooking the valley

The route from the restaurant to the public lot and flower field is gentle and well-marked, so families and elderly visitors can enjoy the scenery easily.
